Collaboration The Intermission Episode

What do we think of when we hear the word "Collaboration," I think of a form of creative partnership that can blossom into something truly beautiful. This year, I made a conscious effort to be more open to new friendships, opportunities, and activities that I love but haven't pursued enough. It feels like I manifested this opportunity because after adding it to my vision board for 2024, I was invited to participate in a Galentine's/Valentine's Day shoot with my friend as the photographer and my friend Jocelyn as the makeup artist. I felt honored and slightly nervous, wondering how everything would turn out.

These experiences, like the shoot we did, inspire me to keep pushing forward in my creative pursuits. In my opinion, there's nothing more beautiful than a group of women coming together to create art. So today, I'm excited to share some behind-the-scenes moments from our recent Galentine's Day shoot in the video below. I was grateful that the other models were comfortable with me filming them so I could give you a glimpse of what we did.

Staying creative keeps me grounded, and I love sharing my thoughts and art with all of you. The results of the shoot exceeded my expectations, and I'm eager to continue growing creatively. It was hard work striking those poses to capture those photos Ms. Kat really had us working! Fun fact: she advised all the models to stretch beforehand because she wanted to try out various poses that inspired her. I was up for the challenge, even though I felt completely out of my comfort zone. After that long day of shooting with such talented and creative women, I felt like I grew ten feet taller.
